Students of Nims School of Law Formally Visited Rajasthan Legislative Assembly

Rajasthan Legislative Assembly or the Rajasthan VidhanSabha




As per activity calendarof Nims School of law, a VidhanSabhavisit was proposed on 11th July 2019. All the faculties and students  ofNims School of Law visited to Rajasthan VidhanSabha, Jaipur.
The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly or the Rajasthan VidhanSabha is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Rajasthan.The assembly meets at VidhanaSabha situated in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Members of the Legislative assembly are directly elected by the people for a term of 5 years.

Objective:
·         The objective of this visit is to become familiar with working of the assembly of democratic state.
·         A vision of “Let our students see our democracy in action;
·          Let our students become aware of the way our democratic institutions work and see the working of our VidhanSabha” was behind this visit.
·         Learning of Law-making process.
Learning from visit:
·         All Students have attended Live Assemblyof  VidhanSabha, Jaipur.
·         Students also became aware of the Constitution and working of theAssemblyof  VidhanSabha as well as law making process.
Experience:
·         It was a great and memorable experience of students and faculty members to visit Vidhansabha.

·         The visit was pleasurable, informative, interesting and successful for the students and faculties which gave them a lot of pleasure, learning and will help them in future to a great extent.

·         It was innovative experience of our life. Question-Answer session and Zero session was so informative. It was a learning process, how law is in making.

·         These visits are exploring means and tools for the students of law.

·         It’s really proud moment for all of us that we were sitting in visitors gallery of VidhanSabha and watching live the discussion on various subjects of national interest.

·         It was an amazing event seeing the Speaker Shri C.P. Joshi and Deputy speaker of VidhanSabha, leader of oppositionShriGulab Chand Kataria, Ministers,Deputy Chief minister ShriSachinPailot and many more MLA’s.

·         We are highly thankful to Registrar,Nims University Rajasthan,Jaipur,who permitted us for visit. We are thankful to our Dean & Principal Prof.(Dr.) ManjuKoolwal who provide us an opportunity to plan Rajasthan VidhanSabha Visit and made it convenient.
