Jaipur:
Foreign students in NIMS are preparing
themselves to emerge on global stage.
“These foreign students studying
in NIMS are assets of their
nations,” Chairman of NIMS University
Rajasthan, Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S.
Tomar told a gathering at the university campus on Tuesday. The campus is near Chandwaji on
the Jaipur-Delhi National
Highway.
Students from as many as 50 countries are
studying in the university.
Today, 87 students representing 10 countries received degrees in the
convocation for foreign students.
Dr. Tomar
said free flow of knowledge and education has been a cause of growth of many
countries including India which has a large number of foreign educated and enlightened people.
International
students convocation was held in the Rajeshwari Auditorium. Degrees were given
for 2015-16 and 2016-17. The programme was organized by NIMS university
Rajasthan joint director Dr. P.K. Pandey.
Registrar
Prem Singh, who presided over the function, said NIMS is the best institution
for foreign students in India.
Vice
chancellor B.R. Meena, Pro Vice
Chancellor Sunil Sharma, Kamlesh Singh,
Dr. Sandeep Tripathi, Dr. Sunil Pandey and Mahendra Verma attended the
function.
