World oral health day Celebrated at Nims School by Nims Dental College

Chandwaji-based NIMS Dental Hospital and College examined oral health of around 400 people on the World Oral Health Day.


Pink City’s premier university saw a programme organized to spread awareness about the health of teeth.
On World Health Day, NIMS Hospital provided free facility of teeth treatment. The college also provided oral hygiene tips. Health of teeth gives an insight into overall health of a person so it is important to take care of teeth. It was said sweets and tobacco should be avoided for healthy teeth.
Dr. Nag Nandani, Dr. Roma Yadav, Dr. Dhananjay and associate doctor were part of dental care team.
Principal Mrs. Mridula Trehan launched the Dental Checkup Program. A poster design competition was also organized in the program, in which Neetu Singh got first place and Diyansh Kumar secured second place.
NIMS University is headed by Professor (Dr) Balveer Singh Tomar who himself is a Harvard alumni  doctor. Dr. Tomar has been associated with World Health Organisation and medical institutions in Britain.
